Scattering by infinitely long bodies

Dear bempp-cl team,

I have been trying to implement plane wave scattering by infinitely long bodies using G(x,y)=\frac{j}{4}H_{0}^{(2)}(k_{b}|x-y|) instead of the Green’s function of a three-dimensional Helmholtz problem.

My idea was to modify somehow the “Bistatic RCS generated by dielectric spheres” tutorial to circular long bodies. Not sure if it is more convenient to just create an elongated cylindrical mesh and then evaluate the solution at a random plane z, or if there is a built in function to do this

Best regards
