Does anybody know where I can find detailed derivations of equations involving double layer boundary operators used in bempp-acoustic-tutorials by mscroggs?
You can find more information about BEM formulations in the papers referenced on the Bempp website (Publications | Bempp).
If you are interested in the double-layer boundary formulation for sound-hard objects, you can search for the Burton-Miller formulation and set the coupling term to zero.
